Empirical evidence, as well as saliva hormone assays, indicates that diosgenin is able to "cascade" or convert to other hormones in the body.

APPLICATION FOR PRO- 10

For most women, 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoonful per day is sufficient. Apply on moistened skin in thin skin areas such as inside the wrist spreading up toward the elbow and underarm, side of the neck, inside the thighs and behind the knees. Many women who get 'period headaches' report excellent results putting their hair up in a towel and applying at the temples, behind the ears, and at the nape of the neck.  For best results, it is recommended to alternate the application area after several (3-4) days. The amount used can be applied once a day or divided into two applications.
